Well, my father had his back surgery back in February, and they fused his spine together and all that, but a few weeks afterwards they found he had had a blood clot in his leg from being down for so long and it had traveled up to his heart and into his pulmonary arteries, so they did an emergency open heart surgery on him, took his heart out cleaned out the major clots, and sewed him back up. He actually shouldn't have survived the incident, but he did and now a few months later his is up and at 'em, taking daily walks, swimming, hiking, working on cars and in the yard, etc. No longer lifting incredibly heavy objects (though that would have been for the best anyhow) he is on his way towards recovery. YAY DAD!
I now work at a local waterpark as a lifeguard, which is sort of fun, and it's giving me a wicked tan, with the equally wicked awkward tan lines from the one piece suit, but oh well. Now that the fourth of July is over, as well as all of the drunken brawls in the wave pool, in the parking lot, in the river, at the counter, the people trying the break into cars, steal cars, steal cash boxes, set fire to the field next door, near drownings and concussions, the rest of the summer should be fairly relaxing. Yay.
However, my family and I are all headed out to San Francisco for a few days, which will be the first time I've been since the 5th grade, so if anyone has some suggestions on places to visit and see or things to do I'd be very appreciative.
On a brief tangent, has it just been me, but has anyone else noticed all the crazy deaths and accidents and such going on this summer? Maybe I just never noticed them before, but you had all those celebrities die on the same day, Billy Mayz (OXYCLEAN!), serial killers in S.C., a close friend of mine lost both of her parents to a homicide-suicide, plane crashes losing hundreds of lives, etc. It feels like the world has gone mad all of a sudden...Maybe I've just finally grown up?
Well, I think that's it.
Yes.
Well, Ta-ta!

Don't take life too seriously, no-one makes it out alive...
And thanks for watchin
Anyway, I wanted to say thank you for adding my "Tangible Energy" charcoal gesture to your favorites. Your gallery is really great as well (especially your conceptual realism)... I appreciate you looking through my gallery and finding something that you can appreciate.
Thank you (though I also know this comment is late)
I was wondering if you had any news about my tree design? No rush or anything (still not even close to saving the amount of money this will cost hah) but I just haven't talked to you in a while and wondered if there were any updates
