This is the piece our school's FM class asked me to draw for their cover for their upcoming art-only issue. And since we're all highschoolers, some people would rather take photos than draw something, so they asked me to involve photography. I came up with this Escher-esque piece. Woot! It's the first just pencil piece I've done in a long time, so it's good to see I haven't gotten too rusty.
This is very well done, and I think, Escher would appreciate the concept of a pencil capturing the image of a camera emerging from 2 to 3 dimentional reality.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

Some people live in boxes. I stand outside the box and kick it over 'cause it looked at me funny.
