Well hello there! It's the end of this semester and ooohboy, what a doozy it was! I could spend time regaling you with all of the intense drama, life changing events, and insurmountable stress, but really, it's over now, and that is good. In short; more injuries, more dramatic illnesses, much procrastination leading to much stress, an epic finish for my finals, a boyfriend across the country (literally, we're each on opposite coastlines) and lots and lots of ART!
That's right kiddies, I have artwork! That should be coming very soon, piled high from the last time I posted anything of worth or value. I had an Advanced Figure Drawing class, so some nudity coming, and a 2D Animation class, so something there, an Intermediate Painting class combined with a Content and Form class, so lots of paintings there! How very exciting!
However, that does mean that I am now at home, and I have to go from my own delightfully ambiguous college time frame to the strict and rigid one of my parents, as I have moved back in with them for the summer. Imagine, all that freedom suddenly relegated by a demand that I wake up at 6:30 every morning, with a chore list and a 40 hour a week work system. I don't even have an actual job yet. It's the SUMMER damnit! That magical time when Lazy reaches a dignified form of excellence! Where whiling away a long afternoon should be encouraged! You're wasting my youth with productivity parents! WASTING IT!
But I digress. The food is excellent here, so I can't complain. And I am such a foodie after all.
Well, that's that. Prayers for those in Joplyn, prayers for those in Japan, and prayers for those in Haiti. (still) And while you're at it, prayers for the sea turtles and the whales.
